With both the Mayor of Lambeth and the Chief Executive of Lambeth council both being of Nigerian decent it seemed only fitting for a special reception to be held to mark the 62nd anniversary of Nigerian independence at Lambeth Town Hall.
Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Lambeth, who also has Nigerian heritage, attended the event meeting many of the guests eager to celebrate and mark the occasion in Lambeth’s historic town hall.
