Christmas Carols at St Michael’s Stockwell

Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Lambeth, DL, Christopher Wellbelove, joined parishioners for the annual carol service at St Michael’s Stockwell. As ever, it was a beautiful service and the DL gave a reading, the Annunciation to Mary.

Even Scrooge would have been warmed by this wonderful service, especially when the children stole the show. Everyone got involved with another St Michael’s tradition, singing the 12 days of Christmas. The Mayor, Deputy Lieutenant, Vauxhall MP, and Police Commissioner all got involved.

Afterward, everyone enjoyed some mulled wine. And after the carol service, everyone present was certain that Christmas had arrived.
