This year was the 21st Two Brewers Street Party (Previously Clapham Street Party) which is held each year as part of the pride celebrations in Prescott Place, Clapham.
Over the years the event has raised ¾ of a million pounds for local and LGBTQ+ charities, as hundreds converge on Clapham to join the celebration.
Throughout the day a range of acts take to the stage from the cabaret scene. Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Lambeth introduced Lambeth’s newly appointed Mayor, Councillor Sarbaz Barznji, who spoke to the crowd about the importance of inclusion and the rich diversity that makes Lambeth such a special place.
Christopher Wellbelove DL congratulated the manager, Jimmy Smith, on his work to raise money for local and LGBTQ+ causes and the Mayor presented him with a badge featuring the Lambeth crest.
