Proclamation

Christopher Wellbelove DL led Lambeth’s Proclamation Ceremony held across from Lambeth Town Hall in Brixton’s Windrush Square. Joined by local MP’s, councillors and hundreds of local residents, the Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Lambeth called upon the Mayor of Lambeth to make the Proclamation, announcing the ascendancy to the Crown of His Royal Highness King Charles III.

Following the Proclamation, the Southside steel band played the national anthem and all present joined in singing God Save the King.
