Part of the role of Deputy Lieutenants is to build bridges between organisations and individuals across our great capital.

After visiting Ace of Clubs, a charity in Clapham, and seeing their great outside space that was needing a little care and attention the Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Lambeth arranged a meeting and visit to another great local organisation Bandstand Beds.

Following this a special volunteer day was organised to clear the site and install new beds. The organisations are continuing to work together to help make sure that this valuable space in London is fully utilised by its users.
