Lambeth’s book of condolence

On the morning following the death in Balmoral of Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Representative Deputy Lieutenant for Lambeth, Christopher Wellbelove DL, joined the Chief Executive, Leader of the Council, and Mayor of Lambeth in being the first to sign Lambeth’s book of condolence.

Christopher wrote of his thanks to Her Majesty for being an inspiration and howshe will leave a fantastic legacy for generations to come.

Afterward, he met with the Mayor and officers to agree on arrangements to mark the loss of Her Majesty and to celebrate the ascendance of His Majesty, King Charles III.
